VEHICLES WITH HIAB CRANES FOR THE FIRE RESCUE DEPARTMENT OF VYSOČINA

CONTSYSTEM company delivered two new HIAB cranes on TATRA Phoenix and MAN chassis to the Vysočina Region Fire Rescue Service. The vehicles will be used for various rescue operations and for the transport of material.

As for the Vysočina region, this is the second delivery of HIAB equipment to this region in the last two years, but already the umpteenth delivery of HIAB or MULTILIFT equipment to the Fire and Rescue Service, whether in the Moravian-Silesian Region or other regions within the Czech Republic.

HIAB X-HIDUO 138 B-3 hydraulic crane on TATRA Phoenix chassis

The crane has 3 hydraulic extensions, an outreach of 10.6 m and a lifting capacity of 11 tm. It can lift a load of 3,950 kg at a height of 3 meters, and 1,050 kg at a maximum unloading height of 10.3 m.The crane is equipped with a proportional remote control with a number of functions for easy and clear handling, manual control from the ground and an electronic lifting moment limiter with visualization of the state of the loaded arms.

It is also equipped with a system for semi-automatic folding and unfolding of the crane using one key on the remote control, a system for detecting the collision of the crane with the cabin, and a stability system for the control of the crane, which recognizes the direction of maneuvering with the arms and automatically controls the lifting torque limiter.

The support legs with a gauge of 5.5 m are hydraulically extendable and extendable, mechanically rotatable - controlled by the switchgear levers from both sides of the vehicle.

The crane has 4 hydraulic extensions, a horizontal reach of 12.8 m and a lifting capacity of 18.5 tm. At 3.5 meters, it lifts a load weighing 5,800 kg, with a maximum unloading of 12.8 m, it lifts 1,460 kg. The crane is equipped with a proportional remote control with a number of functions for easy and clear handling, manual control from the ground and an electronic lifting moment limiter with visualization of the state of the loaded arms.

The crane is equipped with functions that increase the safety of the operator and the environment - CTC crane tip control function, automatic folding and unfolding of the crane arms, crane collision detection with the cabin, crane control stability system, which recognizes the direction of maneuvering with the arms and automatically controls the lifting torque limiter.

The support legs with a gauge of 6.8 m are hydraulically extendable and extendable, rotatable - controlled by levers on the switchboard from both sides of the vehicle.

The delivery of both vehicles included modification of the chassis for the installation of HIAB superstructures, moving the fifth wheel of the MAN vehicle with a semi-trailer, modification of the hydraulics, own installation of HIAB superstructures on the chassis including other accessories, setting-up the cranes and training of the operators.
