Hiab 2222 ATF-3 special low-mounted hydraulic crane with a lifting capacity of 190 kNm and three extensions is designed to fit within the height of the cabin profile when folded. The height of the folded crane in the transport position is 1 410 mm.
ATF model range is a specially developed range of HIAB cranes with a low, foldable mast for the lowest possible transport height and optimized lifting geometry for various applications such as towing and recovery vehicles.
When the crane is unloaded at 3,4 m, it can lift 5 700 kg, at maximum outreach of 8,4 m it can lift a load weighing 2 200 kg. The crane has the continuous slewing and horizontally extendable and hydraulically foldable support legs with a span of 5,8 m. The weight of the crane including the support legs is 3 200 kg.
The crane is controlled by the radio remote control, cable control or manually using the levers on the switchboard. The VSL function (a system ensuring vehicle stability based on the evaluation of the extension of the support legs and the crane load), ADC (automatic regulation of the crane's performance), OLP (overload protection) and the automatic shutdown of SPACE and XS Drive during a pre-set period of crane inactivity are not missing.
The recovery vehicle is built on a three-axle Tatra 815–7T5R31 chassis with the option of connecting all-wheel drive. Suspension on all axles is handled by air bellows with telescopic shock absorbers, the car's ground clearance can be changed from the cabin in the range of -90 to +120 mm. The car is equipped with winches SEPMATIC H100 with a pulling force of 100kN and SEPMATIC H240 with 200kN.
