Hiab celebrates 75 anniversary!

Hiab, the world's largest on-road handling equipment supplier, celebrates 75 anniversary! CONTSYSTEM has been the official representative of HIAB since its foundation in 2007.

Let's look back a little bit:

It all began in 1944, when Eric Sundin, co-founder of HIAB installed the very first hydraulically operated crane in the world on his truck. This easy but innovative idea meant a revolution in cargo handling solutions and brought a great help in handling with wood in Swedish forests.

Since then, development has not stopped and HIAB has become a global innovator and reliable partner, proposing cargo handling solutions to meet the individual needs of all types of industries worldwide.

Hiab MULTILIFT celebrates 70 years!

It all began in 1947, when the Finnish Terho brothers patented the world's first loading system. This simple but sophisticated invention has enabled versatile use of the chassis.

All hooklifts are based on the same idea that has been the main motto of the Hiab MULTILIFT brand for 70 years: "one car = many tasks".
